Gave the Blueberry Lavender a shake/stir. It’s still making CO2 bubbles but no airlock activity. Smells great! Still really cloudy.

Measured the SG of the Coffee Bochet – 1.034. Clearer than the other mead, but not totally clear. Added the 3rd installment of energizer and nutrient. The energizer really created a reaction – looked like the monster under the water in the garbage smasher in Star Wars. Still smells like boozy coffee. Took a taste from the spoon – very carbonated, good coffee flavor but not overpowering. A bitter aftertaste. Didn’t notice the honey. Cannot wait to have a legit drink of this.

I’m thinking about my next batch. At the moment i’m thinking of a black cherry / tart cherry dry melomel. I’d like to get it to taste like wine.

Looking at the calendar, I’m thinking i want another carboy. I might hit up the list serve to see if anyone has one for cheap.
